"My exuberant interest in art and antiques began as an antidote to an early encounter with biochemistry in medical school. Nomadic oriental rugs, Amish quilts, and naively painted objects have always entranced me. With my first trip to Sweden (my ancestral homeland) in the early 90s my interest in antiques veered toward the nordic...textiles, folk art and metalware. I continue to seek out exceptional objects in those genres. I am pleased to have placed some of these artifacts in major collections and institutions. I sell objects reluctantly but console myself by maintaining a photographic "collection." I hope you take equal pleasure from these art forms as you review the photographs on this site."
